Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue
Full name: Time And Relative Dimension In Space
Alias: Tardis, Girl, Idris, Sexy, Old Girl
Race: TARDIS
Planet of Origin: Gallifrey
Age: 900+
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Affiliation: Good
Play by: Tardis – Police box
Fandom: Doctor Who
Personality:
The Tardis can be very compassionate and caring towards others. If you get on her good side, she’ll do anything for you. She’ll protect you and give you a safe home. If she really, really likes you, she’ll even purr. However, only a select few have received the purr. She’ll let anyone into the Tardis she trusts but if you do one thing to break that trust, she’ll reject you and not let you back in.
She hates seeing the Doctor leave. She feels like if something would happen to him, it would be her fault. She was the one who opened her doors and allowed him to travel the universe. Whenever he doesn’t come back for days at a time, she worries that something did happen to him. She hates when he comes back injured because she feels responsible for his injuries even though she had nothing to do with them.
Despite the compassion, she is also very temperamental. Her moods will swing every which way with no warning. IF there’s too much activity from other people, she gets ticked and will shut down. If she’d mad at the doctor, she’ll travel somewhere without his permission or lock him inside. When she’s threatened, all hell breaks loose. She’ll use a few simple defense mechanisms but if the threat won’t go away, she’ll go into higher ones which includes bring out a gun or two and blasting the people away. She will shut down everything if the threat is big enough so they can only do physical damage and they won’t be able to get into the files or anything.
Appearance:
The Tardis is very simplistic on the outside looking like a plain blue police box from 1963. However, on the inside it is several times bigger with rooms and a control center. When anyone walks straight through the only entrance to the Tardis, they will see the control panel with several complicated levers and pulleys and buttons and screens. All these things control the Tardis by the doctor pressing or pulling them and telling her where to go. Underneath the control deck, is where the Doctor likes to keep some of his personal belongings. Along with all of his personal belongings, are the complicated wires and other things that allow the Tardis do what it needs to do.

History:
[/u]
The Type 40 blue TARDIS was grown from TARDIS blue coral on the planet Gallifrey. There were exactly 305 other Tardises created at the same time. They were all called Type 40. The Tardises grew up together. They became a family of blue boxes. It was when the Tardis was completely grown she was moved to a museum. She sat in display for days. But then the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months and the months turned into years.
Years after being placed in the museum, she unlocked her doors when a Time Lord came her way. She wanted to explore the universe, see what’s out there. She wanted to break free of the museum walls and the numerous Time Lord babies poking her.
It took some time before she started seeing the wonders of the universe. It wasn’t until Gallifrey was burning to ruins when the Time Lord came running to her doors. She’d always left them open to him if he needed to get away. She’d been his getaway that day and they haven’t been separated since then.

The soft whirls of the Tardis rang through the air as she landed on the streets in London. If her cameo function was working, she would take in the surrendering area and disguise herself to fit in. However, it was broken so therefore, everyone around saw her as a 1963 police box. It wasn’t something she liked but the Doctor still hadn’t fixed it and it wasn’t something she could exactly fix herself.
The year was 1663 and the Plague in London was beginning to break out. There was one reason why she had brought the Doctor here. He needed to make sure everything was going the way it was supposed to. When she landed, a picture appeared on one of the screens on the console for the Doctor to see. He would know what it meant.
As the Doctor left, she whispered words of encouragement to him and made him promise to come back in one piece. She did this every time he left if he was going to be gone for a few days. She made him promise to come back alive to her and in return, she would give him words that were supposed to encourage him and set his confidence level higher.
Now it was time to wait, this was the hardest part. Waiting. She never knew when the Doctor was going to come back but in the end, he always did. She would be here for him when he came back. Like she always was.
